We are hiring a reliable employee for a Melter position, to work in a Foundry in Pt. Arthur, TX.

Responsibilities:

~Melt a variety of alloys using an induction melting furnace. 

~Follow and understand processes for different types of metals, irons, steels, nickels, coppers, and cobalt. ~Perform minor maintenance on the melting furnaces, make sure they stay clean, and prep them by packing  powder refractory.~Load the metal into the furnace and monitor the heat. Assist the pour crew that pours the metal out of the furnace and into the ladle following proper safety protocol and procedures. 

Qualifications:

~Must be able to operate a front end loader, crane, and forklift.~Client will ensure proper training and supervision of employee and make sure all OSHA safety regulations  are  followed.~Client will provide a safe work environment and ensure employee is wearing proper PPE.~Any safety concerns or incidents will be reported to CS immediately. Must be available to work overtime as  needed.~Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, background check, and provide references.~Dress Code: FRC/Steel-toed boots.

Temp to hire. Work Schedule is 6:00 am-2:30 pm Mon- Fri.
