About our client
Our client is a local small glass business that provides exceptional customer service in around Lake Charles, LA. They are looking for someone that meets the requirements and has a proven long term work history.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install glass for windows, doors, and other structures - Remove broken or damaged glass and replace it with new glass - Install and repair window frames, sashes, and screens - Seal joints and edges of glass with caulk to weatherproof buildings - Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the size, shape, color, and type of glass needed - Cut glass to the specified size and shape using tools such as glass cutters or computerized cutting equipment - Fabricate or install metal framework for glass installation, such as aluminum or steel framing - Install pre-assembled metal or wood frameworks for windows or doors to be fitted with glass panels - Install mirrors in various settings, such as bathrooms or fitness centers
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and installations - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to glazing work - Knowledge of different types of glass, their properties, and appropriate uses - Familiarity with construction painting, cabinet installation, metal stud framing, maintenance person work, remodeling, door hanging, trim carpentry, and caulking is a plus
