GIS Team Member--REMOTE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level team member to join our dynamic group who is eager to learn, embraces new challenges, and enjoys working with complex mapping systems. Our systems help route and permit oversize and overweight truck loads, playing a critical role in infrastructure management and logistics.
As a member of the GIS Team, you will be contributing to the GIS data development, testing, and ongoing support of new Permitting and Routing Systems. You’ll work closely with other GIS Team Members and the Project Management Team to ensure data accuracy and system functionality throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Core responsibilities include maintaining and updating GIS data such as bridge clearances, signage, maneuvers, restrictions, and travel alerts; inputting data through manual entry or digital conversion methods; reviewing and validating incoming data; and supporting both internal teams and external partners with GIS-related tasks. The position also demands the ability to manage deadlines effectively and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
- Starting pay up to $20/hour, based on education and experience
- Fully remote position; however, required on-site training in Bridge City, TX for 6-8 week
(at own expense). - Advancement opportunities available
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (additional hours during deadlines may be required)
- Benefits available after trial period
- Work Arrangement: Fully Remote AFTER a 6-8 week onsite training at our Bridge City office
Work Experience Requirements:
Formal GIS experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided. However, the ideal candidate should be capable of learning multiple systems with similar functionality in order to identify and resolve recurring issues across platforms. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and methodical, with strong skills in tracking issues to resolution and effectively managing task lists. The candidate should be able to multitask, think critically, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and adaptable attitude, flexibility and the ability to seamlessly pivot between tasks, along with a willingness to assist wherever needed within a collaborative team setting, is essential for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous GIS experience is a plus, but not necessary.
- Quick learner with the ability to quickly understand new tools, systems, and processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), VPNs, and web/mobile applications

Candidates MUST:
* Be a Texas or Louisiana resident
* Submit 3 Professional References upon completion of phone interview
* Complete Criteria Corp Assessments immediately following phone interview
* Submit a "Clear" drug screen and background check
* Graduate from High School or have GED
* Submit a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
