We are seeking a motivated, reliable and hardworking Oil Change Technician/Porter

who is seeking a career as an auto technician to join our automotive service team in Beaumont, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance services, while also assisting with maintaining a clean and organized service area. This porter position will pick up parts from local dealerships in the Beaumont area in company vehicle and drop off customers to their home while their vehicle is being repaired.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other basic automotive maintenance tasks.
* Inspect vehicles for any visible issues such as tire wear, fluid leaks, or other maintenance needs.
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area, including cleaning
  vehicles, parking lot, and waiting areas.
* Transport vehicles to and from the service bays as needed.
* Keep track of vehicle maintenance history and ensure all paperwork is accurate.
* Provide excellent customer service by answering customer questions and explaining the services      performed.
* Assist with vehicle inspections and repairs when needed.
* Ensure proper disposal of used oil and other hazardous materials according to local regulations.
* Follow safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in automotive services or oil changes is preferred, but not required.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
* Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
* Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components is a plus.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
* 

2 years' experience with oil changes and brakes a plus.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand for long periods.
* Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
* Ability to work in a shop environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, and mechanical parts.
* Must have own oil change tools.

**Pay is $15.00--$18.00 per hour DOE, with potential for bonuses after going permanent with the company.
